New York Sightseeing, Tours, Excursions and Activities
Hi,
I have got a short break in New York coming up soon and, thought I would try and share a few of my tips and booking plans.
After already booking our flights with Virgin Atlantic, and the hotel direct with The Westin Times New York Square (buy 2 nights, get 1 free deal - about £220/room/night inc. tax for a Corner Deluxe High Floor room is a bargain for Times Square!), I was looking around the net trying to find details of New York tours and excursions to do some sightseeing.
There are a huge choice of New York tours available at Isango including, but certainly not limited to:
- Cruises around Manhattan - seeing the skyline, Statue of Liberty, bridges, etc.
- New York City Passes
- Sex and the City tours (highly recommended by a friend)
- Shopping excursions
- Top of the Rock (Rockefeller Center)
- Helicopter Tours (highly recommended by a friend)
- Empire State Building and Skyride (the Skyride is not very recommended by Trip Advisor reviews)
- Broadway shows
After taking the 15% discount into account, I selected a tour to the top of the Empire State Building (£18 for 2), and a 15-17 minute Manhattan Skyline Helicopter Tour (£143 for 2), for our trip. Anything else we do, we will just pay for when we get there. We’ll be renting some bikes to bike in Central Park, but don’t want to prepay in case the weather isn’t as we expect (New York Weather Forecast).
Isango proved much cheaper than booking locally in New York, and we got a 15% discount with the Promotional Code - it’s a no brainer for me.
Having recently phoned the Helicopter Tour company (Zipover.com), it was very quick and simple process to confirm a definite flight time for the day (a Saturday) we will be there. The lady I spoke to at Zip Aviation was very pleasant as well.
Once I’ve been to New York City, and toured the Big Apple, I will update this post with some photos but, whether you are travelling to New York, or anywhere else in the world and want to book sightseeing tours, excursions and activities, you definitely need to look at the Isango website:
Isango (use discount code ISA_C6HIA for 15% off)
I hope this article is useful to you and you find the Isango website useful, if only to plan what to do…
Cheers,
Nick
